This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or send us an enquiry, for what purpose and on what legal basis. 2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website securely and reliably and is not combined with other data sources.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the stable and secure operation of the website. Webflow is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the USA. 3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

4. Cookies and analytics

We do not use any analytics or marketing tools on this website and do not set cookies for advertising or statistical purposes.

5. Enquiry form

If you contact us via the enquiry form, we process the data you enter (accommodation, travel dates, number of guests, name, email address and your message) to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible booking. The form data is stored by Webflow and forwarded to our mailbox with Google (Gmail, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures); for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering). We delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed to handle your enquiry, unless statutory retention periods apply.

6. Enquiries by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details including your contact data to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a booking, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not pass on your data without your consent.

7. Google Fonts

To display fonts consistently, this website uses Google Fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited. When a page is loaded, your browser retrieves the fonts from Google servers, transmitting your IP address to Google, including to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 8. Links to booking platforms and social networks

Our website contains simple links to Airbnb, Booking.com and Instagram. These are not embedded plugins: no data is transmitted to these providers when you visit our website. Only when you click a link are you taken to the provider’s website, where its own privacy policy applies.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Simply contact us informally using the details above.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): you may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
